Make Every Data Question an Actionable Answer: Introducing Autopilot Analytics Agent

POS intelligence, now at your fingertips.

POS intelligence, now at your fingertips, so your team can get answers, spot changes, and act without waiting on reports.

You do not need to be on Autopilot to access the analytics agent. It is available to Mortgage, Home Equity, and LO Toolkit customers.

Your pull-through rate is down this month. But you’re not sure why.

You have the topline number, but you don’t know what’s driving the decline.

Now imagine being able to look at that behavior at a granular, real-time level. You could see whether the decline is happening across the business or concentrated in a few branches. You could determine whether borrowers are abandoning before submission, disclosures are taking longer, or one lead source has started sending lower-converting traffic.

You could keep going.

Which borrower segments are most affected? When did the change begin? Is it a meaningful shift or normal week-to-week variation? Where are loans spending more time than they did last month, and which teams may need to respond?

The answers are already somewhere in your data. The challenge is getting to them quickly enough to matter.

At Blend, we believe that seeing your business should be as immediate as running it. That’s why today we’re launching Autopilot analytics agent, a new way to understand performance across your entire lending operation the moment you ask.

Ask your POS data directly

This is not just a faster reporting workflow. It is a different way to work.

The analytics agent lets you ask questions about your Blend activity data: everything your point of sale captures about how borrowers move through an application.

Instead of exporting raw data into spreadsheets or waiting on analyst handoffs, teams can generate dashboards, charts, metric summaries, and tables in real time by describing what they want to see.

That includes funnel performance from application start through submission, conversion by application source, borrower engagement patterns, and every action Autopilot has taken on your loans. Because Blend sits at intake, this data covers the stage of the lending process where most drop-off happens, and where most lenders have the least visibility. Industry observers estimate that only 60 – 70% of retail mortgage application starts ever reach submission, and this abandonment is rarely tracked with precision.

Those borrowers never appear in standard pipeline metrics, even though the lender may have already paid to acquire them. This is the part of the funnel your POS data can finally make visible.

What the agent makes possible

The agent is designed to help lenders move from asking for information to acting on it. It can analyze performance across the full lending journey, from application creation through submission, disclosures, closing, and borrower experience.

It can compare segments across loan type, branch, assignee, lead source, device, borrower segment, or time period. It can surface outliers, flag shifts in performance, and highlight areas that may warrant closer review.

It also supports the kinds of questions teams ask every day:

  • What’s happening with our pull-through rate this month?
  • Which branches saw lock volume drop last week?
  • What’s my average time-to-close this quarter?
  • How does conversion compare to the same week last year?
  • What time of day are borrowers starting an application?

Those questions should not disappear into a queue. They should lead directly to the next conversation, the next decision, and the next action.

For leaders, that means a faster path from question to strategy. For operators, it means less time pulling data and more time improving throughput. For front-line teams, it means insight is no longer something that lives in a download.

More than a reporting layer

What makes this different is the data foundation behind it. Out of the box, the agent works with your Blend activity data. But it doesn’t have to stop there. For lenders who want a 360-degree view of the operation, the analytics agent can be connected to the broader systems you rely on: your loan origination system, core banking platform, CRM, digital banking tools, pricing engines, and cost data, all the way to workforce systems like Workday.

With those sources connected, the picture changes from funnel visibility to full-operation visibility. You can see profitability at the portfolio, branch, and loan officer level, and trace a question across systems that normally live in separate reports nobody reconciles.

Note: Actual visibility depends on enabled products, integrations, contractual scope, role-based permissions, privacy controls, masking, and lender governance. External LOS or third-party data is available only when it has been integrated into the connected model.

Visibility without exposure

Just as important, your data stays inside your walls. Most analytics tools move data somewhere else in order to process it. This one does not. With on-premises deployment, connected source data is processed within your infrastructure and is never sent to Blend or third-party systems for analysis. Each customer only has access to their own data, with full data isolation enforced.

The analytics agent is designed to support human analysis, not replace it. Its dashboards, summaries, and visualizations can help teams spot patterns and move faster, but business and lending decisions still belong to the people responsible for making them.

Available today

Autopilot analytics agent is available now for customers on Blend’s Home Lending platform and as a self-serve option in the LO Toolkit, where it is accessible through reporting once enabled.

We are excited about this because better visibility changes how organizations operate. When insight is available at the moment of decision, teams can respond faster, prioritize better, and run their business with more confidence.

That is the promise of the Autopilot analytics agent.
