Integration Engineer (Encompass)

The Blend Integrations team is responsible for providing the technology that connects the Blend platform to various external systems inclusive of partner platforms and customer specific integrations alike.  The team consists of Blend integration engineers, Solutions Architects and industry partners all supporting our integration development. 

Job Summary: As an Encompass Integrations Engineers, you will be responsible for leveraging the suite of Ellie Mae connectivity tools (e.g. SDK, API’s) and Blend’s integration environment, Mulesoft, to build and maintain integrations that connect the Blend platform to Encompass for our portfolio of 150+ customers on the platform.

How you'll contribute:

  • Design, develop and maintain integration flows between Blend and Ellie Mae Encompass leveraging: Ellie Mae’s SDK, Ellie Mae’s NextGen API, Blend’s RESTful Public API, Encompass Plug-In’s (where necessary/applicable)
  • Stand up infrastructure to support Ellie Mae’s SDK framework (e.g. AWS environments)
  • Collaborate and review code with other engineers on the team to ensure each integration maintains a consistent level of technical standards set by the team
  • Communicate technical details clearly to various stakeholders of different technical expertise levels (e.g. Solutions Architects, Sales Engineers, Project Managers, etc.)
  • Ensure that integrations are designed and implemented as reusable building blocks as appropriate to allow for reuse
  • Maintain the reliability and uptime of the Blend/Encompass integration through on-call shifts

Who you are:

  • 3+ years of experience working with Ellie Mae Encompass in an Engineer/Admin/Developer capacity supporting development and maintenance of integrations between Encompass and ancillary systems
  • Extensive experience working with the Encompass SDK and Next Generation API suite
  • Fluency in .NET framework
  • Experience developing highly configurable and scalable services
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to deeply understand the technical details of Blend’s API’s and integration points

Bonus Points!

  • Experience building, deploying and maintaining Encompass plug-ins
  • Experience working with Disclosures and eClose (document generation-based) solutions/workflows in Encompass
  • Experience deploying/managing server environments on AWS
