Motion Designer

As a member of the Brand design team you’ll collaborate to create inspiring solutions that tell Blend’s story and educate our customers on Blend’s products and services. You will be a champion of the Blend Brand, and collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team of visual designers, web designers, developers, marketing teams, product, and employee experiences. Our deliverables extend from national campaigns across multiple channels, product storytelling for customer pitches, to developing the identity for our in-house conference.
You are a motion designer and video editor, creative, strategic, kind, and can share and sell your ideas, and encourage others to share theirs. You sweat the smallest details, bias towards action, and understand what it takes to develop great creative work.
Note: This is a remote role, however, it would be ideal if you reside within the Mexico City area
A link to a demo reel or portfolio showcasing your editing skills as well as any motion or still image design is required.
How you’ll contribute:
- Video edit various projects from start to completion
- Produce digital 2D animations and motion graphics for various projects, such as marketing videos, explainer videos, advertisement materials, social media/web content, and conference animated displays
- Create digital assets, logo animations, and product animations
- Support the Brand Designers (web/print) when needed
Who you are:
- 4+ years experience as a motion designer with a portfolio that shows your impact, creativity, and process
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Proven ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects efficiently
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with others
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to receive and apply feedback
- Results-oriented and able to work under pressure.
- Solid typography skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of design and social trends
