As an Integrations Quality Engineer you will work with the Blend Integrations team to grow, maintain, and be responsible for the test suite for Blend's products. You will be embedded with different teams in the Integrations space to improve our test coverage and ensure standard methodologies are being followed to ensure reliable and fast testing. You will use internal and external APIs to test Blend’s products and backend services, and have the opportunity to deploy and maintain your own local test environment. You will also collaborate closely with integration engineers to determine automation priorities and opportunities.

How you'll contribute: 

  • Collaborate with Integrations leadership to define robust QA structure and motion for development and subsequent delivery of Blend’s integration features
  • Work closely with broader Integrations team to antagonistically test Blend's Integration framework and identify issues with new releases
  • Use problem resolution techniques and processes
  • Identify project risks and recommend actions to minimize risk
  • Continually refine tests and seek to break our integration layer with exploratory and negative testing
  • Provide mentorship for junior Integrations QA team members
  • Organize work efficiently across multiple projects and responsibilities
  • Maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information
  • Work well under pressure to meet due dates

Who you are: 

  • Direct people management or team lead role experience
  • Experience testing in a dynamic Agile based testing environment
  • Experienced in writing detailed test plans and test cases
  • Able to work independently and take initiative to tackle problems and QA challenges
  • A self-starter, fast learner, attentive to details, and master multi-tasker
  • Strong communication and organization skills

Bonus points!

  • Experience with GitHub, Jira, Postman, Mulesoft
  • Bachelors in Computer Science or related discipline
