Blend is seeking a seasoned professional to join the Customer Success organization to help drive growth and scale. This individual will report to the Head of Customer Success and help drive efficient and scalable practices across our organization to better service our customers.  Over the last 2+ years, Blend has grown from 100 to nearly 400 employees, and grown revenue 10x from 2016 to 2018. 

How you'll contribute:

  • Strong enterprise leadership skills and the ability to drive a strategy around customer success and retention
  • Drive efficiency across all of the functions that support the growth and success of our customers and their relationship with Blend
  • Execution and enhancement of our customer growth model, focused on increased customer usage, efficient use of our resources and productivity improvements - via people, process or tools
  • Drive the strategic and operational plan for the next phase of our Customer Success organization, accounting for operational, organizational and system needsBecome a subject matter expert in our space and industry 
  • Develop cohesive strategies for customer retention and partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize and implement these strategies across the customer lifecycle

Who you are:

  • 10+ years professional software industry experience in increasing responsibility owning successful large enterprise customer relationshipsLeadership position(s) in customer success for SaaS or Fintech 
  • Experience working with large consumer financial organizations at the highest levels
  • Experience leading meetings, demonstrations, and presenting to senior executives at various levels of potential and current customers  
  • Managing and leading large, remote teams
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including comfort with public speaking 
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter
  • Creative and innovative thinker; proactive, tenacious, and curious, positive, team-minded
  • Demonstrated business acumen, great problem solver, ability to lead in a changing environment
