Deployment Lead Manager

As a Deployment Lead Manager, you will oversee members of the delivery team implementing Blend solutions for our  clients. This high visibility role acts as a point of escalation for client projects and will work with teams from across the company to rapidly implement and improve our product offerings and provide project leadership.

How you’ll contribute:

  • Manage a growing group of Deployment Leads where you’ll be directly responsible for project staffing, planning, and career development of the team
  • Oversee a portfolio of client projects where you will ensure customer satisfaction, delivery quality, and project health
  • Closely collaborate with Blend’s Product and Engineering teams to share customer requirements, influence product development, and cultivate Blend’s product capabilities
  • Act as a point of escalation for client engagements and participate in strategic meetings with executive-level stakeholders
  • Learn Blend product configurations in order to develop team members’ configuration efforts and tackle both technical and strategic customer challenges with prescriptive solutions
  • Contribute to scoping efforts for new projects in partnership with Blend’s commercial and solutions teams
  • Partner with Blends’s Customer Success Operations team to develop, own, and champion process improvements to internal team operations and planning as we grow and scale

Who you are:

  • 6+ years relevant experience with full lifecycle package software implementations (SaaS preferred)
  • Experience working in or managing a professional services team for a product-driven software company (SaaS preferred)
  • Experience in directly managing clients and advocating for their needs within a growing organization
  • Project management experience (scope control, budgeting, and resource management/forecasting)
  • Ability to consult and advise customer stakeholders at varying levels of seniority, from C-suite to project teams
  • Ability to coach and mentor a team of individual contributors owning technical client delivery
  • Ability to propose creative technical solutions to challenging problems and communicate technical concepts clearly and efficiently
  • Strong agency to execute with minimal oversight
  • Passionate leader who can inspire and motivate team members
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time to partner with clients onsite (once the national situation around COVID-19 safely allows)

Bonus Points!

  • Prior experience with configurable software such as Salesforce, Workday, NetSuite, Guidewire
  • Experience with office productivity tools including Asana, Lucidchart, Confluence, Jira, and Salesforce
  • Knowledge of mortgage industry
  • Experience with Scrum or other Agile methodologies
  • Background working with financial institutions in a customer facing role
