Deployment Lead - Strategic Account

As a Deployment Lead, you will be a trusted advisor to our largest, most complex clients as they implement the Blend platform. You will work with internal and external teams to rapidly implement and improve our product offerings. You will be the main point of contact for customer teams and will be expected to be an expert on all things Blend. The ideal candidate loves to be challenged and is excited to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, highly visible role.

How you’ll contribute:

  • Lead some of the most critical customer initiatives at Blend to successful implementation
  • Learn and master Blend products in order to tackle customer business challenges and deliver value to Blend and our clients as an implementation and delivery lead
  • Consult with mortgage lender businesses and technical resources to gain alignment and produce business and technical requirements, functional design documents, test cases, and more
  • Manage and coordinate multiple complex work streams across various client stakeholder groups to ensure delivery quality and efficiency
  • Lead customer implementation teams through technical implementation and assist with debugging, triaging and resolution for technical issues in testing environments
  • Drive software implementation best practices as an implementation expert 
  • Plan and execute integration testing and user acceptance testing of customer implementations

Who you are:

  • Someone who loves taking on challenges, working with intelligent people and having a sense of ownership in their work
  • An experienced professional who has a point of view on how things should be done but is always looking to improve, accept new ideas and up-level your skills
  • 4+ years relevant experience with full lifecycle package software implementations (SaaS preferred)
  • Hands-on technical configuration experience (examples include screen/user interface, application settings or parameters, branding, etc.)
  • Project management experience (scope control, budgeting, estimating and resource management)
  • Strong software and integration troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to propose creative technical solutions to challenging problems and communicate technical concepts and specifications clearly and efficiently
  • Strong personal initiative and drive to execute with minimal oversight
  • Experience working in a complex customer environment managing various complex work streams and customer personalities
  • Willingness and ability to travel from 30% - 80%
