The Financial Systems Analyst/Manager will be a subject matter expert in Blend’s financial systems (Adaptive) and an integral part of the Blend finance team. We are looking for an individual who is highly collaborative, demonstrates strong technical and communication skills, is very detail oriented, and who thrives in a rapidly growing environment who can also multitask. As a Financial Systems Business Analyst, you’ll utilize your skills to build models in Adaptive / OfficeConnect to streamline financial forecasting, integrate different financial systems within Adaptive environment (Workday and NetSuite) to ingest data automatically, perform monthly audits to ensure financial information ties to accounting systems, and be a subject matter expert on our Adaptive system.

What You’ll Do:

  • Application administration responsibilities over Adaptive system including user role administration for access and control, creating new versions, and building Adaptive Web Reports
  • Develop and maintain Shared Formulas and global assumptions used to drive forecast
  • Refine the Adaptive hierarchy to provide intuitive drill down capabilities that align with business transition  
  • Create and maintain headcount reports for actuals and forecast version by different segments and reporting of expense
  • Revamp attributes to standardize reporting for all data users 
  • Key contributor in developing the next level of integration, vision, strategy, and implementation between Adaptive and Blend’s accounting system
  • Partner with the finance OPEX and Product teams to develop best practice processes and system integrations to streamline and constantly improve the financial systems landscape
  • Support processes for Sarbanes-Oxley and ICFR and other audits
  • Provide technical expertise to support management of data ingestion/ transformation
  • Develop, document, and maintain all technical design aspects of the Adaptive financial systems (Workflow process, exception handling, technical test use cases, etc.)

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems or relevant field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience implementing and supporting Adaptive and OfficeConnect system
  • 2 to 3 years of NetSuite or Workday experience related to application administration, solution implementation, and production support (including Financial Period Close)
  • Experience with writing SQL code for data ingestion between Adaptive and NetSuite/Workday
  • Proven track record of creating operational efficiency through automation or streamlining of processes
  • Ability to present work with confidence and handle questions effectively from both technical and business stakeholders
