This role is the leader of our GTM Analytics & Operations team, covering Sales Strategy & Operations, Customer Success Strategy & Operations, Deal Desk, Analytics, and Incentive Compensation. The role manages a team of professionals and is a critical leadership position within Blend’s Revenue Operations function. 

The right candidate for this role can build a business partner relationship with Blend’s Head of Growth, who owns all Sales and Customer Success teams, and their leadership team. The GTM Analytics and Operations manager will also partner closely with Finance, Product, Marketing, Enablement, and other functions that need to be aligned to drive a successful GTM strategy. The leader will be obsessed with scaling a company that is quickly expanding its product suite, driving simplification and consistency through the customer lifecycle, and developing new ways of understanding the health of our customers and revenue model.

How you'll contribute: 

  • Manage and coach our talented GTM Operations and Analytics team, helping the individuals align to strategy, build their skills, and develop as leaders themselves
  • Partner with Heads of Sales and Success to develop GTM strategy at the highest level
  • Build trusted relationships with Sales AEs and Customer Success Managers that balance the needs of individual customers or representative and Blend’s broader business goals
  • Identify opportunities for increased analytics across the customer lifecycle; lead the team to develop and roll out self-service analytics solutions that put power in the hands of AE / CSMs
  • Use our analytical solutions to identify pain points or business weaknesses; work with your team and AE / CSMs to analyze the root causes and implement changes to our GTM motion
  • Proactively find opportunities for simplification in our processes and business policies
  • Lead the development of incentive compensation programs that reinforce our underlying strategies and motivate individual teams to excel
  • Oversee our Deal Desk to create scalable processes that ease the sales process while ensuring pricing structures and approval chains are enforced
  • Engage seamlessly with RM / CSM leadership and Finance to develop pricing, renewal, and concession strategies and own their enforcement via the Deal Desk
  • Support the redesign of our KPIs; create operational processes that facilitate CSM and AE input on key KPI data points and ensure the data is connected from individual account conversations to company-level Finance reporting for earnings calls
  • Work closely with the leader of our Field Enablement team to reinforce strategy and operational processes via learning channels

Who you are: 

  • 10 -15 years experience in SaaS companies, management consulting, or similar businesses
  • Prior experience as Head of Sales Strategy / Sales Operations or similar roles for 100M+ high growth business 
  • Proven record of developing and executing on Sales, Success, and Go to Market strategy - particularly where the strategy creates significant change for the company
  • Excellent communicator with executive presence and ability to drive compromise between opposing points of view
  • Hands on style; able to both manage the team and drive workstreams independently
