This leader will architect Blend’s global HR Operations and Total Rewards function. This is inclusive of our high impact Compensation, Benefits, and HRIS teams. This leader will develop these three functions with the unified goal of creating a framework across these areas that provide our employees with a motivating Reward structure unpinned by seamless operational execution. This role will report to the Head of People and interlock closely with other People team functional areas to create a cohesive employee experience.

How You'll Contribute:

  • Lead a team of Compensation, Benefits, and HRIS professionals to work in partnership with the unified goal of embedding a People Operations strategy that serves Blend’s business objectives and principles 
  • Create a compelling Total Rewards offering (Compensation and Benefits) that motivates Blend’s employees, including: salary, equity, health coverage, fringe benefits, and allowances
  • Lead the HRIS team through an evolving transition to new people tools, such as Workday, with an emphasis on creating balance between technical dependencies and business objectives
  • Focus on enablement for both Total Rewards and HRIS rollouts to ensure Blend’s employee population is fully aware of offerings and tools for their maximum benefit
  • Initiate, develop, and strengthen position as a key HR Rewards and Operations stakeholder and trusted voice as it relates to key enterprise-wide initiatives (return to work strategy, M&A) 
  • Partner effectively with other HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Management and Recruitment) as an HR Leadership member, resulting in holistic HR programs and projects across the department

Who you are: 

  • Demonstrated experience developing high impact Total Rewards and HR Operations functions
  • Experience in M&A integration that closely takes into account company differences as to thoughtfully create harmonization across HR systems, benefits, and practices
  • Global experience with an acute understanding of how to provide HR Operational support to grow alongside exponential employee growth
  • Skillful communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Data driven, both in decision making and in evaluating the effectiveness of programs
