Blend is looking for a self-motivated and experienced Stock Administrator to join our equity team. As Blend’s Stock Administrator, you are passionate about all things equity, thrive in a fast-paced high-growth environment focused on delivering exceptional service to employees and investors, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and enjoy building out processes and controls at scale.

How you'll contribute: 

  • Perform day-to-day administration of equity compensation plans, including equity grants, option exercises, RSU releases, employee demographic updates
  • Provide excellent customer service to all equity plan participants, including employees, Board of Directors, and investors
  • Partner with Payroll on timely tax withholding and remittance on RSU releases and stock option exercises, audit transactions, and ensure data accuracy 
  • Partner and collaborate with company broker, accounting, HR, legal as well as internal and external auditors with all things related to equity
  • Generate and review for accuracy recurring and ad-hoc reports for Finance, Payroll, HR, and Legal
  • Manage the end-to-end grant process, including coordination with HR to prepare equity grants for approval
  • Lead the design, implementation, testing of migration to new equity administration platform
  • Curate an equity content library and deliver employee education content (e.g., orientation, update company help center, office hours, etc.)
  • Maintain and update process and procedures documents for all equity administration processes
  • Develop process improvements to support day-to-day operations, including partnering with cross-functional teams on key system integrations (i.e., HRIS, Payroll/Tax, ERP)
  • Reconcile the Company's equity award activity against the equity platform on a monthly basis
  • Contribute to team initiatives and projects to continuously evolve and optimize our equity program

Who you are: 

  • 3+ years of experience as a stock administrator, paralegal, or equivalent work experience
  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) a plus
  • Experience with Carta, Schwab EquiView, or similar equity administration software
  • Strong Excel and GSuite skills
  • Detail-oriented with an interest in building, improving, and streamlining processes 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exposure to Section 16 reports, 10b5-1 plans, and proxy statements
  • Familiarity with legal, tax, and compliance concepts relevant to equity
  • Strong work ethic and ability to be productive and successful in a fast-paced work environment
  • Impeccable judgment, discretion, and integrity
