Blend Title Insurance Agency is seeking a Title Processor to support the title production process in our agency. Our ideal candidate has knowledge and confidence in executing their assigned roles and functions with timeliness, expert accuracy, and precision. This is a challenging, fast-paced, and rewarding position at the nerve center of a dynamic, scaling Title Agency. Our ideal candidate is responsible for examining title searches to determine the effect on properties.

How you'll contribute:

  • Studies and prepares title reports, prelim title commitments, and other title related documents as well as update reports upon request
  • Collaborates with the closing department to resolve title issues (e.g., legal descriptions, easements, lot splits, vesting, tax liens, abstracts of judgments, bankruptcies, boundary disputes, encroachments, and list pendants)
  • Understands and arranges legal descriptions on tax maps and/or filed maps
  • Reviews general index/judgment searches and determines if they attach to the property
  • Enters data into the title database and generates the necessary documentation
  • Processes incoming orders and searches
  • Reviews industry publications to remain knowledgeable of changes in laws and practices affecting the issuance of title policies

Who you are:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Title is preferred
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Title industry
  • Must exercise good judgement and to be able to work independently or in a team setting as needed
  • Excellent verbal skills and written communication skills
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
