Partnership Manager (Westlake Village, CA)

As a Partnership Manager for Blend Insurance Agency you will focus on communicating and driving success with some of our most important partnerships. You’ll work collaboratively and cross-functionally with different teams at Blend and Blend Insurance Agency to ensure all the necessary support and response is provided to drive partnership success. You will have regular touch points with partners to receive and deliver feedback as well as discover opportunities for improvement. You will also be the primary point of contact for issues needing resolution and keep all necessary parties informed as issues resolve. You will coordinate the onboarding process of new carriers as well as assist in the onboarding process with new lenders. Our physical office is located in Westlake Village, CA.

How you'll contribute:

  • Build long-term relationships with partner insurance carriers and lending partners
  • Quickly address and resolve issues affecting partners
  • Create strategies and work with improve partnership performance
  • Help promote and maintain a positive image of Blend Insurance Agency
  • Track and report key performance metrics to partners and Agency Management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product management, engineering, sales, customer care) to balance competing projects and with partner management objectives to ensure objectives are metBe a subject matter expert for all Agency partnership-related issues

Who you are:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Understanding of the P&C insurance industry and Independent Agency/Carrier relationship dynamic
  • Experience managing agency relationships or other partnerships on behalf of insurance carrier or similar experience
  • Strategic thinker and ability to analyze and solve problems independently
  • Must be self-motivated, flexible and able to manage several tasks at one time
  • Excellent presentation skills, including developing presentation content and presenting to small groups
  • Highly organized, with strong communication and relationship-building skills
